Colosseum IV

Ciao Italia!

Bring the history and beauty of Roma into your life…

If you’re looking to add a little Italian style to your home or office, you’re about to get lucky. Now available for download to be displayed how you wish, is “Colosseum IV” an original photo taken on an October morning in Rome. “Colosseum IV” is a wide angle view from the inside of the Colosseum. Seeing and wandering about the Colosseum was a surreal experience. This picture transports me right back to the very moment as I was breathlessly taking it in disbelief that I was standing before the Colosseum in Italy! It was a life long dream of mine to go to Italy and there I was, standing inside all of my art history, photography, and travel books in real life. I am so grateful that this dream came true. I am honored to share my personal experience of my trip to Italy through my photos. Colosseum is the first of many to be available for download.

With this download, you are at liberty to print this photo on any medium at any size you wish to fit the scale of your home or office. This photo is for personal use only and not for resale. Further rules are stipulated on the purchase page.

Enjoy this Italian journey through my eyes and heart! Grazie Mille.

The Love necklace is available now.

Digital Clutter

How many emails are sitting in your inbox(s) right now? Are there orphaned files on the outskirts of proper folders? And what about the photos that are yet to be named and edited living in digital purgatory? Thought so, same here. Confession, I am a professional designer and organizer and I have digital clutter. Phew, that felt good, but not great as I still have a dirty little hoarder closet of digital chaos. Sometimes I over file things with names that I’m sure I’ll remember and sure enough, gone. Don’t get me started on the usernames, passwords and security questions. I am faced with the reality that I don’t know the answers to my own questions…that I chose. Deep breath in and time to take a few baby step to reduce the digital clutter and improve productivity.

3 STEPS TO REDUCE DIGITAL CLUTTER

  1. Delete any apps on your phone that are not used on a daily or weekly basis. (They can always be added back if necessary)

  2. Choose 10 photos on your computer and rename them using the subject of the picture and the year they were taken. It’s okay that the pictures go into on folder for now and later be categorized for further organization.

  3. Create a page of accounts and passwords for ALL of your subscriptions, bills and bank accounts with balances and due dates. This go-to document will be a time saver in addition to seeing what accounts can be closed out and eliminated altogether.

CLEAR THE CLUTTER

Here is a meditation for clearing clutter first in the mind, then in your physical surrounding and finally your digital world.
