Create Your Vacation

Time to plan your perfect vacation! Think big, then work your way back down to a similar yet doable plan that will fit within your timeframe and budget. Always set a little fun money aside for a special experience or an unexpected adventure that may arise. If you’re traveling with a partner or a group of friends, schedule some alone time for yourself. It’s okay to part ways for a little excursion of your own. It may actually be great to plan independent adventures to then meet up afterwards and share your experiences. It’s important to grow as individuals to grow together as a couple or group of friends. Happy planning!

Weekend Design & Wellness Project

Create an itinerary of your dream vacation, staycation or retreat. Block time for organic fun and unexpected adventure. Create a non-negotiable budget that you’re comfortable with a cushion for unforeseen or emergency expenses. This amount will vary based on the destination and mode of transportation. If the budget is tights consider day trips in your own city or state. Every state has something beautiful to offer and chances are that you have explored your entire state. It can be fun to be a local-ish tourist. Maybe dust off an old functioning camera and capture views in a new light. Keep a journal of each day’s adventures with a log of restaurants and favorite meals. This can be very helpful when you’re passing along recommendations to someone else. Finally, bring your wellness practices on your trip to stay present in each moment and to keep your body and mind aligned.

Keep An Open Road

Where you come to a fork in the road, take it.- Yogi Berra

It’s time for some serenity with a side of adventure. Let go of the daily routine and over planning of each and every minute of your day. This is your opportunity to live “Mr. Magoo” moments, where you take one stop light and one road at a time. Enjoy the journey of the unexpected experiences that lie ahead. Sometimes these unplanned, off the beaten path excursions make for the best memories.
